Kareena Kapoor's Heroine inspired from Preity Zinta's life?

Director Madhur Bhandarkar is famous for making films based on real life incidents. In his upcoming film Heroine, he will show the rise and fall of an actor. It has been said that Heroine is inspired from the life of many famous Bollywood actresses, including Preity Zinta.

This time Madhur Bhandarkar has taken an episode from Preity Zinta's life. Preity Zinta was known to have donned burkha on several occasions to see the movies in theatres. In Heroine, Kareena would be seen doing the same.

According to a leading daily, "Madhur came to know about this and decided to portray it in his film." Our source adds that Madhur's leading lady Kareena Kapoor is shown doing something similar in the film."

The source further added, "Madhur thought of it as a nice idea."

Interestingly, Preity Zinta and Kareena Kapoor were arch rivals at one time. But last year they both decided to bury the hatchet and start afresh.
