A source told a leading daily that Priyanka recently got a CD and a letter from a fan where he has recorded one of Shahrukh Khan's recent interviews, where he spoke up in defence of Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka's fan has also written that how Shahrukh has stood by her and asked her not let any talks upset her.

Shahrukh Khan had also said in that interview that Priyanka Chopra is one of the closest friends he has and is very close to his heart and will always remain.
