Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is known for his idiosyncrasies. He is known to make statements and remarks that is not always appreciated by people.

Ram Gopal Varma has made a statement on Twitter, that pokes fun at chat show queen Oprah Winfrey. RGV tweeted, “Is Oprah winfrey a fish? Just asking becos the name rhymes with pomfret… Pomfray Winfrey…Pomfrey Winfrey."

Well, we are sure that Oprah won't care for this. However, her fans are likely to be upset with Ram Gopal Varma for making such a ridiculous comment on one of the most loved and respected ladies in the globe.

Oprah Winfrey is currently in India to shoot for her new show titled Next Chapter. Oprah recently met the Bachchan family and attended Parmeshwar Godrej's party that was hosted in her honour.
