Iqbal misbehaved with Saif Ali Khan's GF, Kareena Kapoor?

Regarding the Saif Ali Khan-Iqbal Meer Sharma's midnight brawl, the buzz doing the rounds is that Saif reacted and punched complainant Iqbal on his face because he was misbehaving with Kareena Kapoor and other ladies who had accompanied Saif.

Saif Ali Khan is making headlines after he bashed a South African trade official by the name Iqbal Meer Sharma at a nightclub at the Wasabi restaurant at Taj hotel in Colaba, Mumbai. Saif Ali Khan was accompanied by girlfriend Kareena Kapoor, her sister Karisma Kapoor, Amrita Arora, her husband Shakeel Ladakh, Malaika Arora Khan, producer Bilal Amrohi and a few others.

Though Sharma alleges that Saif and few of his other friends beat him, onlookers say that the fault was at Iqbal's end too. Sources claim that Sharma misbehaved with the female folks accompanying Saif, especially Kareena Kapoor. He then went on to call them a “bunch of hooligans."

Though Saif was irritated, he calmly asked Sharma to go back to his table. Though Iqbal went back to his table, he apparently kept staring constantly at the actor. It seemed like Iqbal had consumed a lot of alcohol.

However, Iqbal denied misbehaving with the ladies. He said that all these stories are being fabricated to bail Saif and his friends out of trouble. According to Iqbal, Saif's friend, Shakeel Ladakh (Amrita Arora's husband) suddenly approached them and punched his 70 year old father-in-law, who collapsed.

Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan has defended himself saying that he was hit first, and that he only acted in self defence.
