Industry
wallahs
have
applauded
Salman
Khan's
efforts
in
trying
to
get
Sarabjit
Singh
out
of
Pakistani
jail.
However,
a
few
section
of
the
media
are
hinting
that
Salman
might
be
trying
to
publicise
his
upcoming
film
Ek
Tha
Tiger
through
this
noble
act.
In
1990,
after
a
string
of
bomb
blasts
in
Pakistan,
the
famous
ISI
caught
hold
of
a
poor
Indian
farmer
and
linked
him
to
this
case.
After
22
years,
Salman
Khan
comes
to
his
rescue.
Everything
that
the
biggies
do
(small
or
big)
invariably
makes
it
to
the
headlines.
Salman,
who
has
been
in
the
news
for
some
time
for
trying
to
get
Sarabjit
Singh
out
of
Pakistani
jail
is
being
surrounded
by
a
new
controversy.
A
certain
section
of
the
media
is
spreading
the
rumour
that
Salman
wants
to
promote
his
film
Ek
Tha
Tiger,
which
is
why
he
is
going
out
of
his
way
to
help
Sarabjit
return
to
his
homeland.
Defending
Salman
Khan's
intentions,
noted
Bollywood
critic
Taran
Adarsh
said,
"Ek
Tha
Tiger
is
already
creating
a
buzz,
why
would
Salman
draw
negative
attention
by
coming
under
scanner?" He
further
added,
"Salman
has
always
supported
noble
causes.
He
has
never
resorted
to
such
gimmicks,
yet
his
films
have
done
so
well.
So,
I
think
it
would
be
ridiculous
to
associate
his
efforts
as
seeking
publicity."
Another
source
too
defended
Salman
Khan
by
saying
that
every
Indian
would
empathise
with
Sarabjit,
and
Salman
is
no
different.
Well,
we
agree
completely
with
that!
If
somebody
is
in
a
position
to
help,
why
shouldn't
he?
What
say
guys?
