Will Vidya Balan star in Sudhir Mishra's Mehrunissa?

Just after the release of the movie Kahaani, another important project is reportedly coming Vidya Balan's way. According to sources, Sudhir Mishra wants to rope in the acclaimed Bollywood actress for his forthcoming film Mehrunissa, which will be produced by Nikhil Advani. If she accepts his offer, she would star alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor.

Mehrunissa is said to be a story of two close friends who meets each other after thirty years and discovers that the girl they loved did not choose either of them. The story has a comic flair. It is said that Sudhir Mishra has already signed Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor, who look younger in the movie.

Apparently, Chitrangada Singh was the first choice of Sudhir Mishra for Mehrunissa, but the actress is said to be not interested to be a part of this movie, which will go on floors by the end of the year. So now, he has planned to approach Vidya Balan for the female lead in the film. It should be seen whether she will accept his offer or not.
