Vivek Oberoi gets Rs 80 lakh for doing nothing!

Vivek Oberoi began the year 2012 with a bang! The actor apparently walked away with Rs 80 lakh for doing nothing!

Vivek Oberoi was invited to perform at a New Year"s bash at the Country Club in Andheri, Mumbai. As per sources, Vivek, along with his dance troupe rehearsed non stop for the show on December 30th. On December 31st, Vivek appeared at the venue at 3:30 pm for the show that was supposed to take place at 9 pm.

Unfortunately, the event never took place as the cops who barged in claimed that the organisers of the event hadn't acquired the required permissions.

Though the organisers have no reason to be happy, Vivek Oberoi cannot complain since he received his fee of Rs 80 lakh that was promised to him.
