Picture: Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha Spotted Together In A Flight

Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha were recently spotted in a flight together and the picture is doing the rounds in the internet. While Amitabh Bachchan was sitting in the front, Rekha was spotted sitting and relaxing right behind. The two haven't been spotted together for a long time.

What we can understand from the picture is that the pilots wanted a picture clicked with Big B. The presence of Rekha in the picture is purely coincidental.

Rumours about Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha's alleged relationship was once the talk of the town. Their onscreen and offscreen chemistry had created quite a furore back in the 80's. The two liked to keep their personal life away from the glare of the media and maintained a dignified distance. Amitabh and Rekha never quite interacted with each other and even kept aloof during parties and award functions.

Amitabh and Rekha were cast together in the film Do Anjaane for the first time. They looked great on screen and film makers began to cast them together more often. Their chemistry was loved by the audience in films like Khoon Pasina, Suhaag, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar and Mr Natwarlal. Yash Chopra's 1984 romantic saga Silsila, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Rekha as the 'other woman' gave rise to many speculations as it seemed like they were all playing their respective roles from their real lives.

Big B in an interview once said that he is open to work with Rekha if any good script comes up. Well, let's hope to see these highly talented stars come together once again on screen! Till then, we'll have to make do with these pictures, what say?
