Deepika Padukone avoids media to see Ranbir Kapoor perform

It looks like Deepika Padukone still has a soft corner for her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. At a recent award function, Deepika Padukone avoided giving sound-bites to media and rushed inside the venue so that she can see Ranbir Kapoor perform on stage. Sources say that Deepika did not want to miss Ranbir's performance at any cost.

A source told a leading daily that at the award function, Ranbir Kapoor was going to perform with his mother, Neetu Kapoor. Their act was his tribute to the Kapoor family. Deepika was keen to see him dance. The source said that around the same time she was asked to address the media by the show organisers but she requested them to let her watch Ranbir's act.

The source further added that during the award show, both Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika's vanity vans were parked alongside but they could not meet each other before the event. Also, after the event, Deepika left without even talking to media.
