The latest buzz in the B-Town is that actress Deepika Padukone might play the lead role in Fashion sequel. This role was played by Priyanka Chopra in the prequel which was a hit in 2008.

Fashion was a much acclaimed movie and it even went on to receive quite a few awards for itself. This movie was directed and co-produced by Madhur Bhandarkar. We now hear that Bhandarkar has plans of making the sequel under the banner of Karan Johar's Dharma productions.

Priyanka Chopra had played the role of Meghna Mathur, an aspiring fashion model. The 31-year-old, who is the winner of Miss world pageant 2000, was highly acclaimed for her performance in Fashion.

Now, with Deepika Padukone being the trending actress of Bollywood, word is out that Madhur Bhandarkar wants to cast her for the lead role in his movie. Deepika, who is evolving as a global figure was a model before she turned into an actress.

This Bangalore based actress has a long torso and super long legs which is the perfect criteria for a model. Deepika is growing with gorgeousness and we think she will suit the role in Fashion sequel. We just hope the story and the film is as good as the first part.
