Hrithik-Sussanne Split: What Really Happened?

It's a black day for Hrithik Roshan's fans as their beloved star and his wife are breaking up their 13 year old marriage. The couple that inspired awe and envy in B town celebrities tied knot on 20 December, 2000, after the phenomenal success of Hrithik's debut feature Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. They had been a model couple in Bollywood for years and appeared together in many award functions and channel shows.

Barbara Mori, Uruguayan-Mexican model who paired with Hrithik in Kites, is said to be the reason for first major rift in their relationship. When Hrithik found a friend in Barbara, it allegedly distanced him from Sussanne. Even though Kites didn't make it to the headlines and Box Office alike, the alleged romance between Hrithik and Barbara did. Bah zillion rumours flooded Page 3 columns of newspapers and internet information highway. Gossipers speculates that the huge difference erupted between Hrithik and wife now could be a direct result of it.

Before Barbara Mori, Hrithik was linked with Kareena Kapoor when their film Yaadein was in making. Some tabloids said that Kareena was in love with Hrithik for an year, but he didn't respond as he was married. It was also interesting to observe that Kareena and Hrithik stopped working together after the 2003 film Mein Prem Ki Deewani Hoon.

Hrithik and Sussanne's marriage survived storms for a long period just because of their kids and families. Sussanne Khan, an interior designer by profession, has been living separately from Hrithik for almost four months. A source close to the family said, "Sussanne has been living with her kids for some time now in a house at Bungalows in Versova, which is also closer to her new boutique. Both her children Hrehan and Hridhan do visit their father Hrithik regularly.'' Some Page 3 columns were also saying that Sussanne, lately, started seeing an actor who is Hrithik's friend too ! Well, nobody knows how much truth is there in such reports.

Lately, even though blessed with great success, Hrithik was suffering from health problems and had a brain surgery to remove a clot. Fans still believe that miracles may happen and Duggu and his wife will reunite. Well, we also hope so!
