Nargis Fakhri To Star Opposite Salman Khan ?

Sooraj Barjatya is looking out for a leading lady to act opposite Dabanng star Salman Khan. The director had even considered Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor and Ileana D' cruz to play the leading lady but finally zeroed in on Nargis Fakhri as the heroine for his film.

Known for writing movies like Main Prem Ki Deewani Hun, Hum Saath Saath Hain and Vivah sooraj is all ready with a new venture and is supposedly trying to rope in nargis as the lead.

Nargis's debut in Bollywood was with the movie Rockstar which was a huge Box Office Success. She is famous for playing Ranbir Kapoor's love interest 'Heer' in the movie. Post Rockstar the actress has done very few mediocre films which didnt get her much appreciation. The actress has also been endorsing shampoo commercials. Nargis also has a telugu movie Shivam up her plate.

Apparently Deepika Padukone was not aware of Sooraj's script to exist. Hence the filmaker went on to sign Nargis instead although it has not been confirmed yet whether nargis approved the script or not. The film will hit the floor by mid of next year as the filmmaker is in no hurry to start his venture.

Salman and Nargis both still have to confirm whether in fact they will be working in Sooraj's film. If all goes well , we might get to see the fresh pair onscreen together for the first time.
