Ranbir Kapoor On The Sets Of Besharam

Besharam, slated for a 2nd October release has already started making headlines all over the media. Ranbir Kapoor who has been labelled as the next big thing in Bollywood stars in it and the film has been directed by Abhinav Kashyap of Dabangg fame. The movie has been touted to be the one to have a realistic chance of breaking Shahrukh Khan's Chennai Express record. With the fabulous collection of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, it is not a distant possibility. Ranbir Kapoor's impeccable record at the box office has assured that the movie will definitely cross the 100 crore mark and will go on to break many records.

But Besharam has also been plagued by controversies due to some scenes which were objectionable to the fans of Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan. The movie first faced the ire of Salman and Shahrukh Khan fans when the trailer was released. The fans said that some scenes are degrading and demeaning to both the actors who have worked hard to make their foothold in the industry. But Ranbir clarified on the matter and said that he is not trying to make fun of anyone and respects his senior counterparts in the industry. However, Salman Khan does not seem to be minding as he recently praised Ranbir Kapoor and put him in the same league as him himself, Shahrukh and Aamir. Salman also praised Ranbir on his acting skills and said that Ranbir is a talented actor.

Besharam will hit the screens on Gandhi Jayanti and is one of the most anticipated flicks of the year. Ranbir is paired opposite Pallavi Sharda who will be making her acting debut.
