Actress
Alia
Bhatt
received
much
accolades
for
her
singing
in
the
song
'Sooha
saha'
from
the
film
Highway
but
the
song
featured
another
singer
from
Pakistan.
As
a
matter
of
fact,
along
with
Alia,
the
mentioned
song
had
Pakistani
singer
Zeb
but
the
foreign
singer
reportedly
was
sidelined
by
T-Series.
As
reported,
the
Youtube
version
of
the
song
uploaded
by
T-Series
had
Alia's
name
quite
prominently
but
Zeb's
name
was
included
only
in
the
list
of
credits.
It
has
been
learnt
that
one
Pakistan
based
newspaper
reported
about
the
incident
which
sparked
quite
discontent
among
the
fans
of
Zeb
who
holds
good
fan
following
in
the
neighbour
country.
The
Pakistan
based
newspaper
stated,
"The
Indian
music
company
scraped
off
her
name
from
the
official
website
as
well.
The
song's
popularity
drove
many
viewers
to
YouTube,
where
the
music
credit
has
only
been
awarded
to
Alia
Bhatt,
director
Imtiaz
Ali
and
music
director
AR
Rahman.
Zeb's
fans
all
across
the
world
have
showed
resistance
towards
the
Indian
music
company
and
have
demanded
her
name
to
be
included
in
the
song's
credits".
Meanwhile,
when
Alia's
father
Mahesh
Bhatt
learnt
about
the
issue
he
said,
"As
far
as
Zeb
and
my
daughter's
song
is
concerned,
I
believe
that
the
credit
should
go
to
both
of
them.
If
the
uploaded
version
of
the
song
only
has
Alia's
name
in
the
credits,
then
it
is
utterly
wrong.
I
will
speak
to
the
T-Series
authorities
regarding
this
matter
and
soon
there
will
be
a
positive
conclusion.
I
have
always
worked
for
the
stability
of
the
relationship
between
India
and
Pakistan.
I
would
never
want
that
a
Pakistani
artiste
or
singer's
credit
to
be
given
to
someone
else."
Well,
we
hope
that
the
issue
resolves
quickly
and
both
the
talents
get
what
they
deserve.
