Alia Bhatt Reveals The Dark Side Of Her Childhood!

Actress Alia Bhatt who otherwise looks so contented and easy-going did not have a very smooth childhood and the reason she attributes is her father's double marriage.

Sweet and bubbly Alia who will soon be seen pairing with Arjun Kapoor in her upcoming movie 2 States, recently talked about the dark side of her life which has affected her personally and her family as a whole. The actress who has been receiving much accolades these days for her fine work, said that her school mates used to make fun of her as her father Mahesh Bhatt had two wives.

"People used to make fun of me in school because my father had two wives. But for some reason, I wasn't embarrassed as he used to stay with me. Perhaps, if he had not been living with me, it would have affected me in a different way," said Alia. The Highway girl also revealed that her family was more like a disjointed one as none of the members used to actually talk to each other.

"We are not a normal family. After a very long time we have gotten close as a family. We never used to sit and eat together. In fact, we never used to talk to each other. But I have changed things now and made a group which has me, my sister, my mom and my father. Now, I love this group," asserted Mahesh Bhatt's daughter, Alia.

The daddy's little girl also talked about his father Mahesh Bhatt who according to Alia is not a conventional father. "Earlier we used to be busy in our own stuffs. He would not even know which standard I was in. Of course, now he wants to know everything about me from personal to professional aspects. He is definitely not a conventional father," said Alia.

Her father's double marriage definitely had a big impact on Alia's life as the actress says she does not want to get married unless she wants to have a family. Alia says, "I was never insecure but it has impacted me in a way that I don't want to get married until I want to have babies." "But my father and mother not being together does bother me. Recently I had a dream that they have gotten divorced and it led to me having a bad night. I felt very low and uneasy when I woke up," she added.

Well, we are happy that Alia finally got her perfect family and with success flowing all round on the young talent, we are sure more happiness are on the way for Alia.
