Arjun Kapoor Respects Dad Boney Kapoor's Wife Sridevi!

Arjun Kapoor's bond with his dad Boney Kapoor grew stronger on the sets of Tevar. He is now so attached to his father that he even respects Sridevi, whom his father had married after separating from Arjun's mom and Boney's first wife Mona Kapoor.

Arjun Kapoor left his family home long back, but is still very emotionally connected to his dad. Speaking about his relationship with his father Boney Kapoor, Arjun said, "Obviously the bond becomes stronger when you work together. It also becomes professional as we have our own opinions."

Boney Kapoor and Mona Kapoor's split was painful and was the talk of the time years ago. Hence Arjun grew up mainly with his mom and did not have his father with him during his growing years all the time. After the death of Mona in the year 2012, Arjun seems to have moved on. has become closer to his dad over the years. Hinting at his dad's wife Sridevi, Arjun said, "I respect his choice. I am happy as well as he is happy."

Talking about his rapport with his dad, Arjun Kapoor further told the media, "He didn't know that I carry my food all the time and he discovered that for the first time. He has never been on the sets to see me. I have seen his work for the last 20 years, but he has never seen me working."

Tevar is produced by Boney Kapoor and will be directed by first-time director Amit Sharma. The film will have Sonakshi Sinha play the female lead.
