Bollywood Has Only One Alia; Thanks To Salman Khan

We all recognise actress Alia Bhatt but very few would be knowing that there could have been another actress in Bollywood with the same first name but thanks to Salman Khan that never happened.

All set to debut in Bollywood with the upcoming movie Fugly, newbie Kiara Advani's real name was Alia Advani and the actress was renamed as Kiara by none other than Salman himself.

Salman was supposedly the driving hand behind Kiara's debut launch and when Sallu Bhai came to know her real name he thought to change her name as another actress with the same name, Alia Bhatt is already established in the industry.

"Actually, Salman sir and the film producer came up with the name together. I liked it instantly. More than anything, I feel it has been done for the audience's convenience, so that they can differentiate between the two actors. Hence, from now on I will be officially known as Kiara and not Alia. I am happy with Salman sir's suggestion," said Kiara.

It is to be mentioned, Salman Khan shares a very close bonding with Kiara's mother as the duo were friends since childhood.
