Shahrukh
Khan,
Saif
Ali
Khan,
Ajay
Devgn,
Sunil
Shetty
and
Manoj
Bajpai
have
all
been
served
a
court
notice
for
promoting
liquor
in
Madhya
pradesh.
The
actors
have
allegedly
violated
the
MP
State
Excise
Act
by
promoting
liquor
in
the
state
for
which
the
Gwalior
bench
of
MP
High
Court
has
issued
notices
to
these
film
stars.
The
high
court
sent
out
notices
after
hearing
a
petition
filed
by
a
lawyer
Avdhesh
Bhadoria.
The
lawyer
alleged
that
the
state
police
showed
reluctance
registering
the
case
against
the
actors.
Superintendent
of
police,
Gwalior,
Inspector
of
Inderganj
police
station,
three
distilleries
were
also
issued
notices,
other
than
the
actors.
Justice
D
K
Paliwal
has
ordered
the
actors
and
the
distilleries
to
submit
their
explanations.
In
an
order
dated
January
22,
2011,
the
excise
and
prohibition
department
said
all
direct
liquor
ads
in
print
and
electronic
media,
hoardings,
as
well
as
surrogate
ads
where
a
brand
of
liquor
was
promoted
in
the
form
of
a
soda
etc
had
been
banned.
Looks
like
it's
that
time
of
the
year
where
every
actor
in
Bollywood
is
caught
in
some
legal
battle
or
other!!
