SRK's Happy New Year Fetches Rs 200 Cr Before Release?

It seems the name Shahrukh Khan is enough to fetch money for the producers as Shahrukh's upcoming movie Happy New Year reportedly has made crores even before its release.

It has been reported that the upcoming movie Happy New Year starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone has earned Rs. 125 crores as Minimum Guarantee (MG) by Yash Raj Films towards the worldwide theatrical release.

In addition, Zee has bought the satellite rights for Rs. 65 crores and T-Series has purchased the music rights of the film for Rs. 12 crores. So all total Happy New Year directed by Farah Khan has already fetched more than 200 crores even before the movie been released.

Well, if reports are to be taken into consideration, the movie Happy New Year will surely make its makers and actors happy than never before. However, no confirmation regarding this has been received from the makers of the movie.

The movie Happy New Year is an action-comedy drama film and apart from Shahrukh and Deepika in the lead roles, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani and Sonu Sood will be seen in supporting roles, while Jackie Shroff will be in a villainous role. The movie Happy New Year will be released on October 23 as a Diwali gift to the fans of SRK and Deepika.
