Bollywood
actress
Nargis
Fakhri
who
has
been
born
and
brought
up
in
the
US
revealed
that
how
her
friends
there
used
to
make
fun
of
her
surname
as
she
says,
it
wasn't
easy
growing
up
in
New
York
with
the
surname
Fakhri
which
otherwise
is
very
beautiful.
Recently,
Nargis
in
a
popular
TV
show
said
that
Nargis
in
Spanish
means
'butt
cheeks'
which
evoked
a
series
of
jokes
on
the
social
sites
but
the
hot
actress
says
she
is
very
much
used
to
such
jokes
about
her
name.
"I
said
Nargis
in
Spanish
means
'butt
cheeks'
and
so
my
name
has
become
a
butt
of
many
jokes.
I
am
used
to
such
jokes
about
my
name.
Let
me
tell
you
it's
not
easy
growing
up
in
the
ghetto
area
of
New
York
with
a
name
like
Fakhri.
I
didn't
grow
up
with
Asians
who
could
perhaps
know
what
a
beautiful
surname
I
had.
All
my
friends
were
Americans
and
non-Asians
who
had
a
whale
of
a
time
with
my
name," said
the
Main
Tera
Hero
actress
Nargis.
She
further
added,
"It's
important
to
be
able
to
laugh
at
oneself.
I
don't
think
too
many
people
do
that
around
here.
I
am
still
taken
aback
by
how
much
people
comment
on
others.
And
though
I
may
say
I
don't
care
there's
always
that
tiny
percentage
of
self
doubt
within
me
created
by
people's
perception
of
me.
At
the
end
of
the
day
I
do
care
about
what
people
think
about
me
as
I
am
also
human."
Following
her
debut
in
Bollywood
with
the
movie
Rockstar,
Nargis
was
seen
in
the
movie
Madras
Cafe
and
lastly
she
worked
opposite
to
Varun
Dhawan
in
the
movie
Main
Tera
Hero.
But
the
Bollywood
actress
who
recently
returned
to
India
after
shooting
for
her
first
Hollywood
flick
Spy,
feels
that
Hollywood
is
much
more
organised
than
Bollywood.
"I
am
not
saying
one
is
better
than
the
other
as
I
enjoy
both.
But
Hollywood
is
far
more
organised
than
Bollywood," claimed
Nargis
who
previously
was
an
American
model.
Nargis
Fakhri
was
born
in
New
York
to
a
Pakistani
father
Mohammed
Fakhri
and
a
Czech
mother
Marie
Fakhri.
However,
her
parents
got
divorced
when
Nargis
was
just
around
seven
years.
