Why Did Shahrukh Khan Meet Salman Khan's Friend Himesh?

Shahrukh Khan recently met his arch rival Salman Khan's 'very good friend' Himesh Reshammiya and spend quality time with him. This move by SRK raised quite a few eyebrows and made people wonder what prompted the baadshah to meet up with Salman's best buddy!

By now the entire country and half the universe is aware of the rift and rivalry between Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan! It was hence very surprising when Shahrukh Khan went to meet Sallu's best friend Himesh Reshammiya at Filmistan Studios, Goregaon on Tuesday night. Himesh, who was shooting for a song with Mika Singh and Mohit Chauhan for one of his films was pleasantly taken aback and quite thrilled to see SRK. The actor was shooting next door and thought of meeting the music composer turned actor.

Onlookers said that the two greeted each other after which Shahrukh complimented Himesh for losing weight. He said, "Himesh, tu kitna patla ho gaya hai yaar."

Himesh Reshammiya was to compose music for Soham Shah's Sher. He agreed to do music for the film on the behest of Sanjay Dutt, whom he respects a lot. However, when he came to know that Vivek Oberoi would also be a part of the film, Himesh made it clear to the filmmakers that he didn't want to work with him (Salman Khan has still not forgiven Vivek for holding a press conference in the year 2003 at his residence, accusing Salman of threatening him).

Wonder whether Shahrukh and Salman will ever get together...considering they have many common friends, including Himesh Reshammiya! Well, you never know...
