After
the
hugely
successful
Mary
Kom,
Omung
Kumar
has
started
work
on
his
upcoming
film,
Sarabjit,
which
is
a
biopic
of
Sarabjit
Singh
who
was
an
Indian
national,
convicted
of
terrorism
and
spying
by
a
Pakistani
court.
Omung
first
signed
actor
Randeep
Hooda
to
play
the
lead
role
in
the
movie
and
later
casted
Aishwarya
Rai
Bachchan
too.
Ash
will
be
playing
the
role
of
Dalbir
Kaur.
Dalbir
is
Sarabjit's
sister
who
fought
for
her
brother's
release,
but
before
anything
good
could
happen,
he
was
killed
in
jail
in
2013
following
a
brutal
attack
by
fellow
prisoners.
After
getting
this
interesting
casting
coupe,
the
director
is
pushing
the
envelope
and
getting
Amitabh
Bachchan
to
play
a
pivotal
role
of
a
Pakistani
lawyer
who
fights
Sarabjit's
case
in
the
court.
Amitabh
and
Aishwarya
have
shared
screen
space
in
a
number
of
movies
like
Mohabbatein,
Khakee,
Hum
Kisise
Kum
Nahi,
Sarkar
Raj
and
Bunty
Aur
Babli.
But
this
particular
movie
will
be
more
special
for
it
has
been
ages
since
we
saw
these
two
actors
share
screen
space
together.
The
shooting
of
the
movie
will
start
in
October,
when
the
officials
will
confirm
if
Amitabh
is
really
casted
in
the
movie.
