Disapointing! Shahrukh Khan & Alia Bhatt Starrer To Be Shelved?

Shahrukh Khan and Alia Bhatt, were all excited to be in Gauri Shinde's next and it was also reported that Alia, had done a few single scenes as Shahrukh Khan was busy with Dilwale, Fan and Raees. However, it is now rumoured that Karan Johar's productional venture might never happen at all.

According to sources, things have not really worked out between the film-makers, and have a lot of creative differences.

Just a few months back, Karan Johar, had taken to Twitter announcing the project, and amazed fans by casting Shahrukh Khan and Alia Bhatt, often confusing them whether they are casted opposite to each other or not. KJO, had tweeted as,

"Red Chillies Entertainment...Dharma and Hope Productions are proud to present Gauri Shinde's next starring...SHAH RUKH KHAN and ALIA BHATT..."

For which the excited Alia Bhatt had tweeted as saying, "Will no longer have any problem with my English Vinglish.. can't wait to be directed by Gauri Shinde with the man himself Shahrukh Khan!!!"

A lot of people, had called Gauri Shinde's next as unconventional, and a bad idea for casting the two in the same movie. However, Gauri Shinde had confirmed that love would happen between Shahrukh Khan and Alia Bhatt, but there would be something special about the couple, that Bollywood has never seen. Also, SRK would have a special appearance in the movie and not a long one.

However, no official statements have been made by Gauri Shinde and Karan Johar, about shelving the movie. We hope that the filmmakers keep all their differences aside and work together to bring the film to life.

Karan Johar's next titled, Shuddhi, was also on shaky grounds, despite of having a starcast in place.

Alia Bhatt, who had a flop through Shaandaar, was hoping to make a comeback with Gauri Shinde's next, that also stars Shahrukh Khan.

Alia Bhatt, is currently working on her upcoming flick titled, Udta Punjab, starring alongside Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh.

It was reported that Alia Bhatt, had shot single scenes for Gauri Shinde's next, as the Baadshah of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan was busy filming his movie Dilwale, starring opposite to Kajol.

As soon as Karan Johar casted Alia Bhatt for Gauri Shinde's next, the bubly actress took to Twitter and posted how happy she was for the offer.

The King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan, is all set for the release of his upcoming movie, Dilwale. The movie stars Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.

Grand Release

Rohit Shetty's Dilwale, is all set to hit the theatres on December 18, 2015. The movie would clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani.

SRK-Alia

No official confirmation has been made by Gauri Shinde and Karan Johar about the movie being shelved. We hope both the film-makers keep their differences aside and bring the movie to life.
