Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are known to be good friends but the date December 18, 2015 has caused bitter rivalry between the two. SRK's Dilwale and Deepika's Bajirao Mastani are set to clash as both the movies are releasing on the same date.

Sources say that Deepika Padukone had requested Shahrukh Khan to inform his team to shift the release of Dilwale to a further date, which of course did not happen.

What happened between Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone is not known, but portals have reported that there's a strong rift between the two due to the release date clash, and that has strained their relationship.

The makers of Dilwale had decided the release date to be on December 18, and the movie also stars Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. Dilwale would bring back the chemistry of the best on-screen couple SRK and Kajol. It also has the bang of Rohit Shetty's directorial.

Bajirao Mastani, on the other hand, is a historical movie based on the Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao. The movie stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.

Since both Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone have not openly spoken up about the rift, we hope there's no strained tie between the two actors and may they continue their friendship always.
