Is Kareena Kapoor Taking Revenge On Hrithik Roshan For Ditching Her In Shuddhi?

It's been 12 years since we saw one of the most lovable pairs of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor together, on-screen. Not so long ago, director Karan Johar tried his level best to come up with a film titled Shuddi, by roping in Hrithik & Kareena together. But sadly, it didn't happen as Hrithik opted himself out and later, Bebo also decided to drop the idea of doing the same project without Hrithik.

Now, rumours are again rife that the Jazbaa director, Sanjay Gupta will be very soon directing Hrithik Roshan in his next flick, which will be an uncoventional love story. He has tweeted, "Ok guys, it's true that I am working on my next with Hrithik and Rakeshji. But we have not confirmed the lead actress as yet. We will soon,"

Surprisingly, few moments later, he wrote again on his Twitter wall, "It would be any director's dream come true to get Hrithik and Kareena together for a film. But we have not finalised our heroine yet." But according to our sources, Mr Gupta visited the leading lady's Bandra residence to discuss the project and she apparently liked the script too. But there is no confirmation from her about doing the project.

It seems like Bebo is just taking her revenge on Hrithik for ditching her in KJo's Shuddhi. The duo has worked together in films including Yaadein, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon.

Currently, on the work front, Hrithik is gearing up for his forthcoming flick, Mohenjo Daro & Kareena, for Ki And Ka.

Kareena Liked The Script

"Yes, the makers have approached Kareena and she has liked the script. It is a daringly different and challenging role. She's good friends with Hrithik and keen to pair up with him but she has yet to sign on the dotted line." says the source.

Hrithik Roshan & Kareena Kapoor have worked together in films including Yaadein, Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Mujhse Dosti Karoge.

It Will Be A Romantic Flick

If things go well, then the duo might come together for Sanjay Gupta's next romantic flick. Reportedly, this untitled project will be written and produced by Hrithik's dad, Rakesh Roshan.

Mohenjo Daro

Currently, on the work front, Hrithik Roshan is busy with the shooting of Ashutosh Gowariker's period film, Mohenjo Daro. The film is slated to be released on January 22, 2016.

Ki And Ka

Kareena Kapoor Khan is gearing up for her forthcoming release, Ki And Ka, which also casts Arjun Kapoor opposite her. The film is directed by R Balki and slated to be released in 2016.
