Not many people know that Mira Rajput is thirteen years younger to Shahid Kapoor. And this is why Mira was not sure to marry Shahid. It is reported that Mira's elder sister convinced her to say yes to the Bollywood actor.

Delhi girl Mira Rajput completed her graduation in English in 2015 from Lady Shri Ram College of the Delhi University. Shahid Kapoor and Mira met through the religious group Radha Soami Satsang Beas.

Both Kapoor family and Rajput family are the followers of this group.

Shahid and Mira got engaged in a private ceremony in January this year. The two got married in Delhi today in the morning (7th July).

Their wedding reception will be held in the evening and around 500 guests including friends and family will attend the function.
