Ranveer Singh and Aditya Chopra's association goes way back to when he first made his entry to Bollywood. It was Aditya who chose him for Band Baaja Baraat, post which there was no looking back.

So when the actor got chose for Aditya Chopra's directorial venture, Befikre, Ranveer could not control his happiness. After years Aditya will be directing and Ranveer was the lucky to be cast as the leading hero.

The movie will be different since Aditya's favourite hero, Shahrukh Khan will not be there. Nonetheless, the film has generated a lot of hype on all social media platforms.

So when Aditya announced Vaani Kapoor as the leading actress, Ranveer was allegedly disappointed says Mid-Day.com. But since it was Aditya who gave Ranveer his big break and now casting him in his directorial venture, the latter chose not to voice his opinion.

Ranveer trusts Aditya's decision and therefore respecting him, Ranveer has not talked about it with Aditya. Well, let's hope Ranveer and Vaani deliver the kind of hit that the former is hoping for.
