Why Karan Johar Is Against Casting Katrina Kaif In His Films?

|

Every time Karan Johar announces a movie project, rumours start to spread that Katrina Kaif is starring in it. So when the director announced Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the same rumours started to buzz.

Karan is fan of Katrina's beau for he has already done two films with him, Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Dewaani but when it comes to Katrina, he hasn't signed her for a single film, except for that one item number in Agneepath.

Why Karan Johar Is Against Casting Katrina Kaif In His Films?

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil requires two actresses to play estranged sisters, while Anushka has been offered one role, the search for the other is still on and contrary to rumours, Katrina Kaif has not been offered the role.

A source revealed to Bollywood Life, "Kjo has his hands full at the moment with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. But he has another script in place that he wants to direct next year. It requires two actresses who will play estranged sisters. Kjo has sounded off Anushka about the same and the hunt for the other actress is still on."

An insider from Dharma productions even confirmed that Katrina has not been offered any role. Well with the Kaif girl out of the picture, wonder which actress will play sibling to Anushka Sharma in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
