WOW! Shahid Kapoor's Special Gesture For Mira Rajput On Karva Chauth

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput tied the knot in July 2015. And today ( 30th October 2015 ) Mira is celebrating her first Karva Chauth with darling hubby Shahid. To make her day special, Shahid has taken a day off to spend his entire time with Mira.

Talking about the same, a source told Bollywood Life, "Mira loves her hubby and as both of them are very religious, she will observe her first Karva Chauth fast today. She wants her hubby to have a long life and for that she will not eat anything.''

The source further added, ''She has been preparing throughout the week for this occasion and it seems that Shahid will also be at home, spending time with his family and by Mira's side."

Not long ago, Shahid Kapoor had revealed in an interview that why he chose Mira Rajput as his life partner, he said "I think the fact that we are different works for us. It is a nice thing that we are different from each other. But at the same time we are good at communication, we get along well.''

Shahid Kapoor further added, "She (Mira) makes me feel very normal. I go back to a very real atmosphere and I really like that a lot. She has no desire to get overtly 'filmy' as a person. She is very much an individual in her own right.''

"It (marriage) makes you more responsible. I have been living on my own for the last nine years. I was independent at an early age. I have been earning since I was 16-year-old and I shifted to my own house when I was 23-24 years old. I have lived an independent life, though I had responsibilities," the handsome actor added.
