After Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Will Now Romance Ranveer Singh In Her Next!

Kareena Kapoor who was on-screen romancing Arjun Kapoor for her upcoming film, Ki And Ka which is all set to release on April 1st will now be romancing his best friend, Ranveer Singh.

You heard it right. According to sources, Sadma remake Boney Kapoor and directed by Lloyd Baptista will now star Kareena Kapoor in the lead role and not Vidya Balan.

And bagging the lead role in the Sadma remake is not other than Ranveer Singh who will be reprising the role of Kamal Haasan.

While both Kareena Kapoor and Ranveer Singh have their share of work cut out for them, it will be interesting to watch the duo as a pair on the big screen.

Ranveer had once said in an interview that his favourite actress is Kareena Kapoor but he would like to see her do more substantial role. Post this statement, there was news of Kareena being miffed with him but all those stories died down when the duo where seen posing super close for selfies during the Saifai Mahotsav.

In those pictures, Kareena and Ranveer did make a good pair and looks like the makers saw that and cast the two in this remake of an epic movie.

Sridevi and Kamal Haasan's performance in the movie was flawless and is remembered even today. It will be a tough shoe to fit in, for both Kareena Kapoor and Ranveer Singh respectively.

The 35-year-old actor will also be seen in Udta Punjab, speaking about her role, "I play a doctor in the film. It's (the role) very simple and nice, good Samaritan kind of a thing. But the whole atmosphere of the film is so nice and dark that the role is very different," Kareena told.
