Arjun Rampal is one of the most handsome actors in Bollywood and his career has had several ups and downs. He first started off as a model and worked his way up to enter the film industry. Nothing came easy and he had to sweat and break his back to reach the point that he is at right now.
It has been close to 15 years that we've known Arjun Rampal as he debuted in the movie Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat in 2001. His performance was so good that he was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut in the same year. He said,
"I am just happy I am still here even after 15 years. It is such a crazy industry. I feel fortunate to be here and I should thank my stars for getting me good work and continuing working what I love to do. I have been very grateful. And even ahead of 15 years my journey is going to be roller coaster ride, sometimes you are up, sometimes you're down, it's good to feel different kinds of emotions, it keeps you on toes."
When asked about how he copes with failures and how he overcomes them, he revealed, "I will give you a nice quote for that. Imagine a guy who made the light bulb Thomas Edison. Imagine how many bulbs he must have blown before he created the light bulb. But when he created the lightbulb, nobody must have asked him, how many bulbs he had blown. But each bulb taught him how to make that light bulb. Every failure teaches you how to go closer to the goal."
"The most important thing in life is to have a goal. In my case I want to be remembered as someone who has done nice films, who had quality in his cinema. I want to be known as a versatile actor, I want to surprise my audience. The path that I have chosen will have many failures, but the success I will achieve will be truly remembered. So I will just keep going".
