Fawad Khan Will Not Play The Role Of Deepika Padukone's Husband In Padmavati?
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati is already creating buzz across the filmy circles as to who would play the role of Deepika Padukone's husband and it was rumoured that Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan would star in the movie, and then it was reported that Vicky Kaushal would play Deepika's husband.
However, a source close to the movie spoke to Bollywoodlife and rejected the claims that Fawad Khan would be playing the role of Deepika Padukone's husband. Fawad Khan has signed a contract with film-maker Karan Johar for three back-to-back movies and cannot star in any other film until the term ends.
"Fawad is extremely busy with other projects in Pakistan. Also he has signed a three film deal with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. So obviously the actor cannot break this and work with any other director. So there is no chance of him signing Bhansali's Padmavati," quipped the source.
We will have to wait and watch as to who will play the role of Deepika Padukone's husband in Padmavati. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, wants the film to go on floors during September 2016, and the first schedule will start with Deepika Padukone and her husband's character.
