Priyanka Chopra recently announced that she would soon produce a Bollywood film under her maiden production venture, Purple Pebble Pictures.

It is none other than Anushka Sharma! Priyanka and Anushka have been very good friends, so it doesn;t come as a shock that PeeCee chose the latter as the lead heroine in her debut production.

A source revealed to Mid-day, "She will play a cop in what will be Priyanka's first Hindi production. PC was supposed to act in the film, but decided to just take credit as a producer since she will be seen as a police officer in Prakash Jha's 'Jai Gangaajal'. The film's storyline is interesting and is being closely guarded at the moment."

A source close to the production house confirmed the story,"This will be the first time an actress will be producing a film for her contemporary. The pre-production work is underway and as soon as the paper work is completed, an official announcement will be made."

But PeeCee's spokesperson said otherwise, "For now, she will be producing only regional films."
