Rumour has it that, the owners, will be paying double the amount to Sonam for endorsing the jewellery brand.

Recently, the Executive Director of Kalyan Jewellers, Ramesh Kalyanaraman took to social media to say, ''Aishwarya Rai has been an integral part of Kalyan Jewellers' brand building efforts.''

''It is disappointing to see unwarranted media speculations. Our relationship with her is much beyond the brand's association, we will be always thankful to her and wish her all success,'' he added.

Talking about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a source told Bollywood Life, "Aishwarya's contract with the jewellery brand expired last year in March. Fact is, she has helped establish the jewellery brand as a leading brand, with her personality and global recognition.''

The source further added, ''Since the contract was over, Aishwarya was donning jewellery from different brands for various events," says the source.
