A few months back, it was revealed that Salman Khan and Karan Johar are going to co-produce a film that'll star Akshay Kumar in the lead.
But if recent reports are to be believed, Salman Khan is not interested in producing the film anymore, all thanks to Ajay Devgn.
Ajay Had Announced The Film First
According to Bollywood Life, ''The fact that Ajay Devgn had announced the film first on the same storyline (The Battle Of Saragarhi) was acting as a roadblock from Salman's side.''
Salman Felt It Would Be Unethical
''On finding out that Ajay's team was the first to make an official announcement, the actor felt it would not be ethically right for him to back another film that will not just dabble with the same subject, but also compete to be better.''
Other Reasons Are Also There
After the under performance of Tubelight, Salman Khan is not keen on being associated with another film that is based on war theme and is more interested in films that play to the gallery.
Salman Not Interested To Work With Reshma Shetty
''When the deal was struck between Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Salman Khan's SKF, Reshma was the one who coordinated it till the end.''
Salman Decided To Opt Out
''So while she isn't with Salman Khan anymore, she is will still be a part of the film, so Salman Khan decided to opt out of it rather.''
They All Have Moved On
A source informed Quint, ''The script is nowhere near ready. Akshay is now busy with his other assignments till the end of 2018. Producers Salman Khan and Karan Johar have also moved on.''
Aamir's Film Occupies The Same Genre
''Meanwhile Aamir Khan's Thugs Of Hindostan occupies the same genre and space.''
The Movie Will Not Happen
''So it looks like Yash Raj has beaten Karan Johar to that big historic epic box-office space. It doesn't look like Battle Of Saragarhi will happen.
Hope it does not affect their friendship!
