Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika In BIG TROUBLE, Producer Gets Sacked & More Heads To Roll

Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika in trouble again as the budget of the film increased from Rs 70 Crore to 100 Crore as they want to reshoot the scenes. Zee Studios head has been fired citing cost cutting.

Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has been making news for all the wrong reasons and there's a new one that's just added to its list of woes. First, it was Sonu Sood who walked out from the movie citing Kangana's high-handedness and bullying on the sets and now it seems like even Swati Semwal might follow his footsteps, as the producer has asked her to reshoot her scenes.

If all of this was not enough, reports state that the budget of Manikarnika has suddenly increased from Rs 70 Crore to Rs 100 Crore and the business head of Zee Studios, Mr. Sujay Kutty, has been sacked from the company, as he had given the green signal previously for the film to go on floors. However, the everyday increasing budget has caused the company to give him the pink slip, citing cost cutting as the reason.

The extra Rs 30 Crore is for the reshoot of several scenes in Manikarnika and Kangana Ranaut would be directing it. We'll have to see if the production house Zee Studios will release the quoted amount in the first place or not.
