According to TOI, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is anything but glad to learn about Amitabh Bachchan's next project with Emraan Hashmi. The duo will be seen together in Chehre and they have already kick-started the shoot of the film.

It's known to all that in the past, Emraan Hashmi had offended Aishwarya Rai by calling her plastic and fake on the chat show of Karan Johar's, Koffee With Karan.

Aishwarya Refused To Work With Him As Well

Ever since Emraan took a dig at her, he landed in the bad books of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and owing to the same reason, she had also rejected a movie opposite him. The movie was none other than Badshaaho.

Recently, Aishwarya Had Taken A Jibe At Emraan Too

Not so long ago, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was interviewed by Jitesh Pillai for his show, Famously Filmfare. During a rapid-fire round, Aishwarya was asked about the worst comment she ever heard about herself, to which she said, "Fake and plastic."

Later, Emraan Justified His Remarks On Aishwarya Rai

When Emraan was asked if Aishwarya refused to star in Badshaaho because of her cold war with him, he had said, "I don't know who was approached for the role of the leading lady but it's like going back into history... that (the remark on Koffee With Karan) was two years ago.

The statement was made in jest and it's all for the hamper. I am a big fan of Aishwarya Rai and if I meet her I will definitely apologise because there was nothing personal (to it).''

Emraan Had Further Added...

"Karan just nudges you and makes you say these things. To win a hamper makes you greedy and makes you do such foolish things. I have no idea whether she refused the film because of my statement - that only the makers and people who approached her know."

'Aishwarya Would Have Forgotten The Incident'

"Lot of actors are approached for a role. I haven't had the chance to meet her. She would have forgotten this incident but obviously she was reminded of it because of articles in newspapers."

In Another Interview, Emraan Had Also Reacted To Aishwarya's Jibe At Him

When asked about Aishwarya's jibe, he said, "She didn't say that it's my comment. She had just said that this comment is the worst. In the profile of the show, you have to be a bit controversial and funny.

That is to win the hamper. I'm sure she is not speaking about me. But if she is, then I have said it in other interviews as well that I have an immense respect for her. I think she is a very good artist."
