Madhuri
Dixit
Tinnu
Anand:
Madhuri
Dixit
is
undoubtedly
one
of
the
most
adored
and
renowned
actresses
in
Bollywood.
She
is
cherished
for
her
versatility
and
stunning
appearance.
The
actress
has
worked
with
almost
every
top
hero
of
her
time
but
has
never
shared
the
screen
with
megastar
Amitabh
Bachchan
in
any
film.
However,
it's
interesting
to
note
that
filmmaker
Tinnu
Anand,
renowned
for
directing
some
of
Big
B's
most
memorable
films
like
"Shahenshaah,"
"Kaalia,"
"Major
Saab," and
"Main
Azaad
Hoon,"
once
attempted
to
bring
them
together
in
a
film
titled
Shanakht
in
1989.
But
he
couldn't
succeed
in
making
the
film.
Recounting
the
very
first
day
of
the
shoot
from
the
film's
set,
Tinnu
revealed
that
he
had
a
heated
argument
with
Madhuri
over
her
costume
that
was
so
bad
that
he
ended
up
firing
her.
Madhuri
Dixit
was
asked
to
take
off
her
blouse
and
only
wear
a
bra
for
a
scene
with
Amitabh
Bachchan
Renowned
actor-director
Tinnu
Anand,
in
a
recent
interview
with
Radio
Nasha,
recalled
a
scene
from
the
shoot
where
Amitabh
was
tied
up
in
chains.
He
said,
"In
the
scene,
Amitabh
is
tied
up
in
chains
by
the
villain
in
that
carriage.
He
is
trying
to
protect
Madhuri,
but
he
gets
overpowered
by
these
goons.
So
Madhuri's
character
says
why
are
you
attacking
a
man
in
chains
when
a
woman
is
standing
in
front
of
you."
He
then
shared
that
he
had
narrated
the
entire
scene
to
Madhuri
before
signing
her.
He
shared,
"I
had
narrated
the
entire
sequence
to
Madhuri,
and
I
told
her
that
you
have
to
remove
your
blouse
and
for
the
first
time,
we
should
see
you
in
your
bra.
And
I
am
not
going
to
hide
anything
behind
a
haystack
or
anything."
"Because
you
are
offering
yourself
to
help
a
man
who
is
trying
to
help
you.
So
it
is
a
very
important
situation
and
I
want
to
shoot
it
on
the
first
day.
She
said
okay," he
said.
He
then
went
on
to
say
that
he
told
Madhuri
to
design
her
own
bra
and
added,
"I
said
you
can
design
your
bra,
whatever
you
want.
You
don't
have
to
wear
a
bra
bra
but
you
can
design
your
own
bra,
I
don't
mind.
But
it
has
to
be
a
bra
because
your
are
opening
your
blouse,
offering
yourself."
Tinnu
then
revealed
that
Madhuri
refused
to
do
it
even
after
willingly
singing
the
movie
and
shared,
"I
asked
what
happened.
She
said,
'Tinnu,
I
don't
want
to
do
this
particular
scene.'
I
said,
'I'm
sorry,
you
have
to
do
this
scene.'
She
said,
'No,
I
don't
want
to.'
I
said,
'Okay,
pack
up,
say
good
bye
to
the
film.
I'll
cancel
my
shoot.'"
Tinnu
also
stated
that
he
was
thinking
of
signing
another
heroine
for
the
role,
but
Dixit's
secretary
later
came
in
and
said
that
she
would
do
the
scene.
Let
us
tell
you
that
Madhuri
and
Tinnu
never
collaborated
again,
but
Amitabh
Bachchan
and
Madhuri
had
a
special
dance
number
in
the
1998
film
Bade
Miyan
Chote
Miyan,
which
was
titled
Mere
Pyar
Ka
Ras
Zara
Chakhna.
