Priyanka Chopra Reveals Why She Opened Up About Being Cornered In Bollywood: I Forgave & Made My Peace With It

It hasn't been long since Priyanka Chopra created a stir in the industry after she opened up about being cornered in Bollywood. The Bajirao Mastani actress had stated that after spending around 20 years in Bollywood, she chose to make a career in Hollywood as she had "beef with people" in B-Town. Priyanka further mentioned that she was tired of the politics in the industry and need a break following which she decided to start a career in Los Angles.
And while her statement left everyone brimming with an opinion, Priyanka has now finally revealed while she chose to open up about being cornered in the industry now. This happened during a recent event of her upcoming series Citadel wherein Priyanka asserted that she has moved on in life and has made peace with what had happened. She also mentioned that she is in a better place when it comes to her 'tumultuous relationship' with how things were for her back then in the industry. "I think now where I am, I am okay enough to articulate what I felt. I think I have had a very tumultuous relationship with what occurred, then I forgave, I moved on a long time ago and I made my peace with it. I think that's why it was easy for me to talk about it in an open manner in a safe space," Priyanka was quoted saying.
Furthermore, as Priyanka is gearing up for the release Citadel on April 28, the actress also spoke about one thing that is non-negotiable clause for her when it comes to choosing new projects. The Dil Dhadakne Do actress asserted she can't work with people she doesn't like as she wants to be excited and inspired about going to work. "I have to admire, look up to, like the people I am surrounded with," she added.
