However, the buzz around the duo's relationship going through a rocky path started to swirl for months. And now the latest report suggests that Malika and Arjun split two months ago, but they reconciled after working on their differences.
Arjun-Malaika split
Arjun and Malaika have been dating for over five years and respect each other's space. However, speculations around the couple's separation surfaced online, and now a report by Zoom states that Malaika and Arjun had officially broken up two months ago but eventually resolved their differences to reconcile.
Their relationship went through some serious conflicts, leading to their split. However, soon the couple realised that they could not live separately for long and got back together again. Moreover, the major reason behind the conflict was that one of them wanted to take their relationship to the next level, which is marriage, while the other was not ready for that.
Quoting a source, Zoom wrote, "They have been together for many years now. It won't be easy for either of them to call it off and forget about the good times they have spent with each other. It is only good that they realised that splitting is not the solution to life always."
It isn't clear who wants to get married and who is not ready. The source added, "One doesn't know why they have gone different ways or should we call it a 'break from each other'?"
When Arjun Kapoor denied speaking about their marriage plans
Recnety, when the Gunday actor appeared on Koffee With Karan 8, he declined to talk about their relationship publicly alone in the absence of his partner. "I think at this point, and as much as I love coming on your show and being as honest and sincere about it, I think this is the part of my life that right now I want to take it as it comes. I think it's unfair to be sitting here without her and talking about the future. I think that would be the most respectful thing," he had said.
The actor added, "Once we reach that stage, we will come and talk about it together. I'm very happy where I am and I think we make no bones about the fact that we survived through whatever we've had to be in this comfortable happy space."
