on
KWK:
Koffee
With
Karan
season
8's
latest
episode
turned
out
to
be
a
classic
one
as
Bollywood
OGs
Neetu
Kapoor
and
Zeenat
Aman
graced
the
couch,
where
they
had
a
heartfelt
conversation
with
host
Karan
Johar.
The
duo
talked
about
their
personal
and
professional
lives
and
quitting
the
glitz
and
glamour
for
their
families
at
the
peak
of
their
superhit
career.
Neetu
shared
some
surprising
details
about
her
late
husband,
actor
Rishi
Kapoor,
and
also
recalled
the
days
when
she
was
dating
him.
Neetu
on
Rishi
being
a
strict
&
possessive
husband
Speaking
without
any
regrets,
both
Neetu
and
Zeenat
shared
how
they
were
happy
and
ready
to
take
a
step
back
from
the
industry
to
embrace
motherhood
and
manage
their
households.
Neetu
told
Karan
that
she
could
never
party
hard
during
her
prime
days
as
Rishi
would
set
strict
boundaries.
"With
Yashji
(Yash
Chopra)
we
would
have
lot
of
fun,
we
would
have
parties,
but
I
had
this
Rishi
Kapoor
as
my
boyfriend
so
I
never
partied-partied.
It
was
always
like
don't
do
this,
don't
do
that,
come
home,
so
I
never
saw
the
wild
side
of
partying
in
those
days.
I
was
committed,
and
I
had
a
very
strict
mother
and
a
very
strict
boyfriend.
So
I
was
torn
between
both
of
them," Neetu
said.
Neetu
Kapoor
on
leaving
Bollywood
Further,
talking
about
quitting
Bollywood
at
the
age
of
20-21,
Neetu
shared,
"I
started
working
when
I
was
5.
When
Do
Kaliyaan
came,
I
was
so
loved
by
everyone.
I
had
already
seen
fame
very
early
in
my
career,
so
after
that
working
became
a
job
for
me,
it
was
nothing
that
I
looked
forward
to.
From
age
5
to
21
I
have
worked
a
lot,
I
did
around
70-80
movies."
She
then
added,
"I
had
worked
for
15
years,
so
you
get
tired.
My
kids
were
born
and
I
just
wanted
to
dedicate
myself
to
my
children,
and
my
house,
and
my
husband
was
very
possessive.
He
wanted
me
all
the
time
to
just
be
around
and
be
there.
So
that's
the
way
my
life
was
and
I
was
very
happy."
She
said,
"I
had
such
a
lovely
household,
everybody
was
so
full
of
love,
and
my
mother-in-law
was
one
of
the
best
human
beings
ever.
My
father-in-law
was
so
wonderful,
we
were
like
one
happy
Punjabi
family
and
we
had
so
much
fun.
My
best
years
were
when
I
stayed
in
Chembur
at
Deonar
Cottage."
Neetu
and
Rishi
got
married
in
1980,
and
she
stepped
away
from
acting
following
her
wedding.
They
have
two
children
-
daughter
Riddhima
and
son
Ranbir
Kapoor.
Rishi
was
diagnosed
with
leukaemia
and
passed
away
in
April
2020
after
two
years
of
battle.
