Ananth Mahadevan had termed Aksar 2 as an old-fashioned suspense thriller. Sadly, the film doesn't turn it to be one! Towards the climax of the film, one of the characters tell another, "Maybe we could have a happy ending for both of us'. Sadly, that fails to happen with the audience. This one is worth-a-miss!
