Bhoothnath Returns is an average film. Everyone in the film have done justice to their roles. Performances are to be spoken about much. The little kid in the new block is truly amazing.
'Some things in life are best left unsaid', this might be a better line for Nitesh Tiwari to follow! Overall, Bhoothnath Returns is worth one time watch even for the kids.
BHOOTHNATH RETURNS is made with noble intentions and the message it conveys resonates in the second hour, although those looking for entertainment may find it lacking in the second half.
Watch it for some wonderful moments and superior performances by Bachchan Sr., Boman Irani and the child artist Parth Bhalerao.
Firstly, we feel that the title of this Amitabh Bachchan starrer film is a bit confusing. ‘Election Returns’ or ‘Any Body Can Vote’ could have been the better title for the film. Secondly, we felt that director Nitesh Tiwari forgot that Amitabh Bachchan is playing a ghost in the second half.
Bhoothnath Returns is a film which is full of loopholes, yet the brilliant performance by Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani and child artist Parth Bhalerao makes it a watchable film.
Moreover, with election fever in full swing, Bhoothnath Returns, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, could not have asked for a better timing.
The problem with this well-intentioned social drama is that it starts out as a children's film but decides to grow up mid-way and discard its predecessor's endearing traits to take a sanctimonious stand in a regrettably tedious manner.
