With the little preview show that the press got, let us just put it out there, Dil Dhadakne Do is one awesome entertainer that will keep you hooked till the end.

Zoya Akhtar is a brilliant director who knows her job well, as expected she has done a fab job in executing of such a dysfunctional family. Story gets predictable but you can't pick a flaw in her direction.

This high society family drama where there is no place for emotions is super entertaining and is a must watch. A high energy movie that should not be missed, so book your tickets fast!

Straight away, Dil Dhadakne Do redefines the Bollywood family drama. With her quirky third, Zoya Akhtar further sharpens her oeuvre - the stylish ensemble tale, where journeys take over destinations.

But these are fleeting clouds on an otherwise beautiful sea, hosting a cruise which hilariously combines butter chicken with bruschetta while searching beyond Bollywood's emotional Botox for a family's warts - and its heart.

This is a classic example of how when a pertinent, contemporary story (Reema Kagti, Zoya Akhtar) meets a stellar star cast and near perfect direction (Zoya Akhtar), it results in a wholesome film good enough to be taken home to mum.

Even while holding our hands to take us through some of the most interesting parts of the world, Zoya Akhtar sometimes subtly and at times with a bulldozer aggression drives home certain bitter truths typical of most Indian families, but those we choose to avert our collective gazes from.

If this film looks like an entertaining, escapist film at the outset, it is, but it is also much deeper than that. Watch it for sure.
