Director Rumy Jaffrey, who has done comedies like God Tussi Great Ho and Life Partner earlier, has come out with one more entertainer named Gali Gali Chor Hai that carries a clear message to Indian movie goers. But this time, he has chosen a serious subject like corruption and dealt it in a humorous way.

Gali Gali Chor Hai is a satire on corrupt system in India. Akshaye Khanna's superb performance is the major attraction of the movie. Anu Malik's music, Mumukshu Mudgal and Rumi Jaffrey's screenplay and dialogues and Gururaj Jois' camera work are other highlights of the film. It could have been even more impressive if the director had given a hard hitting conclusion.

Corruption is seriously debated and discussed topic today. Several movies have made on the story of common man's fight against corruption. But Gali Gali Chor Hai remains as a different attempt as it incorporates the current incidents in the narration. It throws light on corruption, dishonesty and bribery in Indian system.
