Katti Batti Story

Katti Batti movie is a unique love story about new age relationships and breaking up and making up in the world of today, the sort of contemporary romantic relationship never before seen on Indian celluloid.

The movie is an anti-love story starring Imran Khan as Madhav Kabra (Maddy) & Kangana Ranaut as Payal. Maddy is an architect who is love with Payal because of her attitude towards life. The story revolves around Maddy & Payal's live-in relationship for 5 years until a sudden turn of events when Payal leaves Maddy mid-way!

Story in deatil:
The movie opens with the scene of Madhav Kabra (Imran Khan) drinking phenol, his friend and sister taking him to hospital in order to save his life. When they take him back home, starts a flashback of Madhav and Payal's (Kangana Ranaut) love story.

Then follows a typical rom-com of the boy meets girl, the two fall in love, they move into live-in relationship and then crops up the innumerable differences which ruin their love story. Due to some unexpected twists and turn, Payal ends up leaving Madhav, will the lovers reunite or not, why she left him forms the crux of the story.
