Loot, directed by Rajnish Raj Thakur has taken an exceedingly long time to hit the theatre and the time lapse is pretty evident in the movie narrative.
Loot fails to hold ground even after we are are introduced to the four protagonists played by Govinda, Suniel Shetty, Jaaved Jaaferi and Mahakshay Chakraborty. The narrative goes at snail pace and fails to make an impact. The narrative seems so unconnected at various times that even the witty one liners and a few good comic scenes is unable to save Loot. The script and screenplay is clumsy.
Loot is the story of Pandit (Govinda), Builder (Suniel Shetty], Akbar (Jaaved Jaaferi) and Wilson (Mahakshay Chakraborty), who have been asked to carry out a robbery in Pattaya, Thailand. But they end up going to the wrong address and robbing. The three are in a mess, with the most feared don Mahesh Manjrekar going after them.
