Namastey England Review
There's a line in Namaste England where Param tells Jasmeet, "Pehli Baar Ek Biwi Ka Affair Kisi Aadmi Ke Sath Nahe... Ek Shahar Ke Sath Dekha Hai'. Well, that's exactly our sentiments echoed. Namaste England strugges to stay afloat.
The direction of the movie is vintage and it is devoid of any novelty or freshness. The film is easy on eyes thanks to the beautiful cinematography. The music is just about average.
The tensions between the lovers get thornier and more twisted and increasingly uncomfortable to watch. Misogyny spreads to every corner of the screen and when the violence erupts, it is shocking but foregone. Keluskar reserves his trump card for the very last frame, which takes the film into a new direction....
