Zid Story

Karanvir Sharma is a crime reporter who works for a local newspaper in Goa. Mannara is his beautiful neighbour in Goa who falls head over heels in love with Karanvir. The couple decides to take their relationship forward and goes out on a date one stormy night. While returning they meet with an accident which results in the death of a teenage girl. After the panic and tense moment, Mannara convinces Karanvir to report the death to police as hit and run case. As the story goes on with such lies, betrayals, obsessions, possessiveness, jealousy, what's the end result of the protagonist forms the crux of the film Zid.

The only thing Zid has going for it is the atmospheric chills it offers by way of perennially grey skies, dense foliage around the bungalow and beyond, and the sense of distant melancholy the camera lends to the scenes. But I guess that alone doesn't cut it in the erotic thriller genre now, does it?
