Antariksha, for kids set to release

Mumbai (UNI): Antariksha, a 35-minute children's film based on Astronomy-Astro-physics, Science and Technology will hit theatres in Thane, Mumbai from tomorrow.

''Antariksha'', produced by Jidnyasa Trust of Thane, stars eminent space scientist Jayant Narliker among other austro-physics, trust founder Surendra Dighe told reporters yesterday.

''The main objective of this film is to make children aware about another world in the space'', said Mr Dighe.

''The film also features President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, Dr V D Karad, Dr V G Bhide and Prof Yashpal'', added Mr Dighe.

Produced by Balaji and Concentrate Media Combine, the film has Ashok T Jadhav (executive producer) and Pravin V Gangurde (screenplay, lyrics, dialogues and direction), Anil Misal (cinematography), Shaank-Neel (music) and voice over by 40 students of MIT, Pune.

The star cast include Kishori Shahane Vij, Anand Balraj Vij, Rahul Rajani, Manjyot Sethi, Kritika Sharma, Mukesh Ahuja, Pranav Pandhare, Amruta Shelar, Bharat Kale and Sunil Godbole.
